Customer Reviews For The First Alert YS-1 Security Yard Sign

Arrived quickly, super easy to attach sign to little post. I read the other reviews about the post not being strong enough to jab or pound into the dirt, so used my garden hand spade to make an opening in the dirt. I positioned the signs under an overhang, to protect from the weather. The lawn sign and stickers look professional. Sure to fool burglars into thinking we actually have our security service activated!

HAVE IT IN THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. PEOPLE ASK, HOW MUCH FOR SECURITY SYSTEM. LOOKS GOOD!!!

I particularly liked the smaller version stickers that were with the sign. They are smaller than the ones that were included with our surveillance system and still give notice. Even better - by the time they get close enough to actually read that sticker...they are ready for their close up. Quality products all around!

While the sign look nice when delivered and I liked the included window stickers, the signs began to fade within two weeks in the sun. They faded so quickly that I have already had to buy new signs from another company so the red warning will stay visible .

It is what I was looking for. I found this item easy to assemble and use. However, the support stake is made of plastic. The ground needs to be soft to install the signpost or you run the risk of breaking it.
