What are motion sensing light sockets?
First Alert’s Motion Sensing Light socket is a modified light socket that you screw into your existing light sockets. Thee specialized, modified sockets have a motion detector built into them and can be used with standard and energy saving CF light bulbs! When you enter the room, the light automatically turns on, and turns off when you leave! This means no more fumbling for a light switch in a dark basement or in a laundry room with your arms full of clothes! It is also perfect for walk in closets and utility rooms!
